KPN Develops Intuitive TIBCO Spotfire and TIBCO iProcess Mash-Up Application to Expedite Fiber Optic Order Fulfillment Process
Abstract
In the course of just a few seconds, hundreds of messages pass through the KPN IT systems related to various aspects of order fulfilment progression. Sometimes exceptions arise that prevent an order from flowing through, requiring human intervention. Because of the huge volume of information generated by the mass of service orders, the W&O department was challenged to easily identify issues and promptly channel them into actionable information. Moreover, the group sought a way to anticipate a problem in order to prioritize solving the most critical and act on multiple issues at the same time.
