What: TIBCO Software Inc.’s Director of Life Sciences Industry Solutions for TIBCO Spotfire®, Ben McGraw, will present a session titled “Making Sense of Clinical and Operational Data: The Challenges and Opportunities Facing Drug Development” at the annual Oracle Health Sciences User Group Conference. The conference’s goal is to facilitate the exchange of information among users of any products in the Oracle Health Sciences suite.
Session Overview: One of the biggest challenges clinical development teams face is to gain insight from disparate data sources in today’s complex drug development environment. Most clinical development teams today are making decisions based on canned business intelligence (BI) reports that contain stale data pulled from incongruent clinical systems. Furthermore, clinical IT is burdened with maintaining numerous, inflexible point-to-point integrations.
