TIBCO SPOTFIRE HOSTS INAUGURAL EUROPEAN USER CONFERENCE IN PARIS, MARCH 16-17, 2011

What: TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) announced today the inaugural Spotfire® European User Conference to be held in Paris, France on March 16-17, 2011. The premiere European Spotfire customer event will gather customers, end users, IT/administrators and executives from across Europe to learn how TIBCO Spotfire® Analytics can lead to better business decisions.
Overview: The first day of the conference will include hands-on, lecture-style training sessions, which will provide participants with information on topics including the use of TIBCO Spotfire® 3.1 and 3.2 and, in particular, the new heatmap and combination chart, and a new lists feature. In addition, the sessions will cover coloring updates, including new conditional coloring rules, color schemes and scaling; parameters and properties; data functions (executing S+® and R scripts and functions); and script controls. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session, as well as give product feedback. The day will conclude with a technical forum roundtable followed by a networking dinner.
The second day of the conference will provide participants with the opportunity to meet fellow users and experts, as well as hear firsthand from Spotfire partners who will share their insights and best practices during five parallel tracks: clinical trial analytics, life science research analytics, analytics in the context of business intelligence, Spotfire development forum and innovation, and financial services and energy.
