    Adding Data From Another File

Hi! I need to upload more columns. In the new data file I have a "Completion Name" column and a "Date" column that I would like to link to the old file and add a few more columns. The difference from the "Completion Name" and "Date" is that the old data has every day for the year, whereas the new data only has it for once a month (all on the first). I would like to add the new column so that there is a blank spot for all the days that don't have data. Thanks, Michael

    Hi,

Spotfire by default acts as you wish. From the Insert Menu choose "Columns from external Data" you will next be asked to choose which data set to add to and then the data to add. Next is the join option ...

The results is only matched keys have additional columns.

    Best Regards,

    Eran
