Version 4.0 update: Table header and cell border issues

I recently developed a report using Spotfire version 3.3.1 that is printed and used for status report meetings.  In this report, due to it's nature, there are several table visualizations displaying text strings.

The problem I have is that Spotfire version 4.0.1 has removed the color from table headers and drastically reduced the visibility of cell borders (to the point that they are barely visible, especially the vertical border).  This in turn causes the report to look very sloppy and almost unreadable (The structure around each cell and section is not clear, and separate column texts visually appear to run together into the same sentence).

I have double checked to ensure that cell borders are shown in the table property menu.  I also do not see any option to re-include color in the table headers (This helps differentiate headers from the values).  Has anyone else experienced this issue?  Does anyone know of a way to force the data tables to look the same as in pervious Spotfire versions - i.e. is there a compatibility option? (Other than downgrading to version 3.3.1).  It seems detrimental to not include a compatibility option with a major design change like this.

     Thank you.
