Array BioPharma Integrates TIBCO Spotfire and CambridgeSoft to Accelerate Drug Discovery and Translational Medicine Research
Abstract
Prior to 2010, Array scientists analyzed data almost entirely in Excel. While they
could compose simple tabular reports, they lacked an intuitive interface with which
to interrogate the data interactively. In early 2010, Array scientists sought to update
their visualization tools with a state of the art Life Science data visualization and
analysis platform that would address the respective requirements of drug discovery
and development and translational medicine. Dr. Daniel Weaver, Array’s Associate
Director of Scientific Computing, and his team found that no off-the-shelf software
was a great fit for the needs of both drug discovery and translational medicine.
